Let go


If you let go
I fear I will lose my way
And get lost in my emotions

If you don't let go
I know I will lose my way
And fade away
like your last heart beat

If you let go
I know I will lose my way
Searching for the coordinates
that lead me back to you.

If you dont let go
I will never know the pain
Of a heart filled with hurt
Or know what it is worth
To be joined in love
Only to be torn apart
By thoughts of
Will you ever let go?

Since you let go
My earth still tilts at 23.5° on its axis
Moving in orbit around thoughts of you.

This poem tries to explain certain insecurities in love. A mind constantly being plagued, with thoughts of what happens when the one we love, finally lets go. Sometimes we love too much, that when they let go, we suddenly lose the ability to move on, from thoughts about them. Please share and drop your comments thanks.

Slavery of your mind Living in the illusion you called love You feel it is one of a kind Ordained from above The one thing He craved was the very thing you gave You thought it was bravery to fall in love but I knew it was slavery when He could not get enough.
