HER PAIN
She soaked her only solace in a pool of tears,
With body cuddling the pillow
Like it could save her
From the kicks, blows
And harsh curses rained on her,
As reality had made her it's punching bag.
Her mind once tucked in like the sheets,
Now laid in shreads on the floor,
Ripped apart by the pain and fear
Of what comes next.
Too much to bear,
She opened the window to let the pain out
But the wind brought it back,
collecting the pieces of her shattered mind,
And placed them at its mercy.
But as each piece danced,
Moving in Synch to the airflows,
On a path to the moon,
She reached and clung to a single piece of her sanity,
To not lose her mind completely.
This piece she planted deep in her heart with hope,
that the moon will finally go to rest taking the darkness with him,
Hope that morning will come with an end to the mourning
Of lost hope
And With a long rope wrapped around the sun
Dragging the shine to her heart,
To grow her back into perfection.
Until then she swings with her frame
Butt stuck to the ground as her pivot
Head bent, knees folded
And with hands cuddling her pain,
she waits...
